The National Bank of Poland commemorated the 200th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Polish composer and pianist Fryderyk Chopin with a collector's banknote of PLN 20.

On the front, in the central part, there is a portrait of Fryderyk Chopin, seen in profile. This element was printed in steel engraving technique. On the left, there is a manor house in Żelazowa Wola, and on the right, a reproduction of the first edition of one of his works - the Mazurka in B flat major, Op. 7 No. 1 with the artist's autograph.
On the reverse side, against the background of the Masovian landscape with characteristic willows, there is a reproduction of a fragment of his Etude in F minor, Op. 10 no.9.
