Reverse side: an episode that took place during the Holy Mass inaugurating the pontificate of John Paul II, illustrating the special relationship of the Pope with Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński: during the assembly of the so-called Cardinal's homage, John Paul, stood up and in a memorable gesture, he expressed his respect for the Primate of Poland. On the right side of this scene, a quote from the Letter to Poles: "This Polish Pope would not be in the See of Peter [...], if it had not been for your faith, not retreating from imprisonment and suffering, your heroic hope [...]" and the date when these words were uttered - October 23, 1978.
